At once representational and abstract, this series explores the female form mirroring the natural landscape. The ebb and flow of elemental earth and water serve to accentuate and reinforce the archetypal femininity found in nature, its simplicity and singular beauty.

These photographs are each a single exposure.  Window reflections are merged with what is on the other side of the glass.  Looking through glass is always surprising. Changing the camera angle changes the reflections; shadows change the way objects show or do not show. Inanimate objects in a window can seem to have personality, as photographs are inanimate and yet arouse feelings. They evoke our double life: who we are inside and what we become outside.
